A Word Page Numbering Question

WordmanUncategorized

What’s the most unusual page numbering scheme you’ve had to create for a proposal?

Most proposal documents, I’m guessing, have some front-matter pages numbered with lowercase Roman, and then the actual proposal numbered with Arabic. Foldouts generally count as two pages. Easy enough for a Word document.

But Word’s page numbering feature is very flexible and you have the potential to create (and get into trouble with) complex schemes. I’m interested in hearing from those who’ve had to create an unusual page numbering scheme to be compliant to an RFP.
